1. Each cartridge will last for 6 months. Although, sometimes the filter will have to be replaced sooner because of the water quality in your area. If your water is very dirty, then the filter will need to be changed more often. Our personal recommendation is to change the cartridge as soon as you've noticed a change in the water quality.
